The Capas Death March Monument is an important historical site, but to be honest, there’s not much to see aside from the large obelisk, the memorial walls, and the wide grounds. It’s more of a place for reflection and remembrance rather than sightseeing.

If you’re into history, it’s worth a visit to pay respects and learn about what happened during the Death March. But if you’re looking for something lively or scenic, you might find the place a bit plain. Still, it holds great historical value and serves as a reminder of the sacrifices of...

This is the original Death March memorial in Capas, having been around for as long as I can remember. It has remained unkempt all these years, with no distinguishable improvements that will make it more presentable to visitors.

The current admission fee is 20 pesos. I bet visitors will not mind paying more if only to rescue the place from its current sad state.

Nice shrine, but nothing else, no plaques, no information, no data, etc. I respect what it stands for, I really do, but it would really help people understand better if they had some facts and data. One plaque maybe, why was it built there?
