Absolutely a great experience! If you love hiking please visit. As a solo traveler I was lucky enough to get a spot with a group with the help of Irma. Irma was very kind and they gave me great directions on how to get to the location by bus from Angeles and a list of things I should bring. Follow there advice. Bring water, sunglasses, a hat, good shoes (expect to get your feet a little wet, I wore hiking sandals), and a mask for it can get really dusty and hot! Our tour guide for this trip was Raul Gutierrez he did a very good job navigating the hike and giving details on the history of the volcano and pointing out various rocks and plants as well.
