Mount Pinatubo Base Camp — Attraction in Capas

Absolutely a great experience! If you love hiking please visit. As a solo traveler I was lucky enough to get a spot with a group with the help of Irma. Irma was very kind and they gave me great directions on how to get to the location by bus from Angeles and a list of things I should bring. Follow there advice. Bring water, sunglasses, a hat, good shoes (expect to get your feet a little wet, I wore hiking sandals), and a mask for it can get really dusty and hot! Our tour guide for this trip was Raul Gutierrez he did a very good job navigating the hike and giving details on the history of the volcano and pointing out various rocks and plants as well. With heavier rains in the area we were stopped at the final check point and were advised due to the heavy rains the area is closed.
