If Boracay’s famed White Beach married Palawan’s limestone wonders, their tropical offspring would be Caramoan. This idyllic archipelago in Camarines Sur is a hidden gem—a nirvana of creamy sands, pristine turquoise waters, and dramatic cliffs that lure both sun-seekers and nature enthusiasts. Scattered across the seas, each of Caramoan’s islands holds a unique treasure. Matukad Island: Witness the giant limestone rock precariously balanced atop its emerald-green waters, like a giant’s playground marooned in the ocean. Hunongan Cove: A hidden lagoon enveloped by verdant forests and secluded beaches, a wonderland waiting to be explored. Sabitang Laya: Embark on a journey to its hidden white beach, a cove kissed by the sun, awaiting with crystal-clear waters. Delve deeper into the wonders of Caramoan and you’ll discover an underwater realm brimming with life. Dive into the azure depths of the ocean, where vibrant coral reefs await to be explored, teeming with colorful marine life, from mischievous clownfish to elegant sea turtles. Or snorkel in the shallows, where schools of tropical fish dance through the water, creating a mesmerizing underwater ballet that will take your breath away. In Caramoan, every moment is a discovery.

The legendary 2 milkfishes lives here. You need to climb the limestones to see fishes. This place has mini shop selling drinks and snacks including coconut. The island has fine sand compared to lahus island. These island is one of the island hopping spots when going to explore Caramoan, Camarines Sur

Get lost in the archipelagic beauty because Matukad Island is a must for those looking for a quieter, unspoilt & less visited isle than the more frequented El Nido or Puerto Princessa in Palawan.

I went there last year. I must sayo this will be my go to place since the environment is beautiful. It's similar to both El Nido and Coron, yet mysterious. I've seen it's rarity. Such beautiful place. Affordable. The only inconvenience it has is the was the hours you're going to spend to go there. For instance it took almost 14 hours to go there. It's far from everything else. I highly recommend it as there aren't a lot of people. Best time to visit there is from February to May. I came there last September so it sorta rainy. But it's...

A very long travel by land from Manila via Precentacion. It's more advisable to take a plane from Manila to Naga then a van to the town of Caramoan. Or you can opt to ride a boat from sabang port to Caramoan.

We went there via land and took almost 14 hours before we get there because of unfamiliar roads.

Definitely will go back there by land or by plane. It's worth your time and effort to see a very nice...
