we went here because it was famous to a lot of people and good reviews were given. as they said, yes, there was plenty of parking space at the side of the road, a good selection of street foods that are budget friendly, the famous flavored roasted sweet corn, would have been great if it was not rushed, and true to the story, yes there was a long line, and only this stall had that longest line amongst all the other stalls there. there's really a lot to choose from along the 1 km stretch of stores there. and yes, they don't have street lights. but we enjoyed visiting the place due to the green surroundings. and yes again, you can have a picnic setting there along with the cows. the area was patrolled by police and local government security. that gives you a little feel of security but still look after your valuables while within the area while walking and while waiting in line, as it was really a mix of people out there. so enjoy...
Read moreIt's a nice place to go when you want to food trip and enjoy fresh air and scenery outside city's sound pollution.
4 star cause here's why; It's very crowded especially later than 5:30 PM. I suggest you go early they open at 4 PM though it's hot depending on how high sun is but the breeze of air ease the scorching heat. If it's cloudy then lucky for you. It's a very wide space and you can park beside the road. However, a lot of people bring their private cars so go early. Food offerings are mostly street foods. I had hope of something different, maybe we went on a day where they don't have it. Idk. So far I'm still satisfied as I still love what they offer. The view makes the difference. It's nice to stay there, just eat and enjoy what nature can offer. I hope they will maintain and even plant more trees as shed...
Read moreDon't believe vloggers promoting this "food park". It's not as outstanding as they portray it. Food is so-so. Most food booths are unhygienic. The one selling buko juice has 80% water in it. If you're a fan of below average to average tasting street foods and wide picnic areas, this place is for you.
The picnic area is just behind the lane of food (and non-food) booths. You can set up tents, foldable tables and chairs, even bring a loud speaker lol. If you have kids, they have space to run around the grassy plains.
Best time to visit is between 4pm to 6pm. Once the sun is down, it's a whole new level of mess. You must provide your own light source if you'll eat here at night.
Fun fact: The booths don't pay any rent here to sell. They don't follow any rules as this place is not governed. Parking is also...
