Balacay Point is about 30 minutes from Puraran Beach Resort. It's one of the most popular attractions in Catanduanes since entrance is free. As of February 2025, motor vehicles cannot directly enter the place since the entrance was barricaded. To access, you need to hike for 10 minutes going up. The hike is worth it. The place has one of the majestic views of Catanduanes. The views of the sea, the mountains and the surrounding area are simply breathtaking. You shouldn't miss it when you visit, Happy Island. Highly recommended!

Fresh air, green surroundings, relaxing sound of the beach are just some of the things your senses can experience here. Perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset here while drinking your favorite instant coffee or chocolate drink. This is also a good place to stare at the skies while forgetting the hustles and bustles of the city. A must see place in Baras Island, Catanduanes.

Balacay Point used to be popular even before Binurong became famous. This one is smaller than the latter, and it gives off New Zealand vibes. There were carabaos and serene views of the nearby seas and islands can be seen from above. We went on a midday, which was not ideal because the sun was so up and there were no shades going to the top. Bring an umbrella, if ever!
