Incredible view of the Pacific Ocean!
We started the trail by the beach followed by makeshift rocky footpath which was very accessible during low tide. As we climbed, we passed by a forest: lot of shrubs, trees, creeks, sounds of birds and insects. It was a bit muddy in some areas - not recommended during the monsoon season. Then the route opened to grassy hills with scattered wild flowers. We were welcomed with sunshine, wind on our faces and an awesome view of the sea and the cliffs.
Interestingly, when we were about to go back a little past 5pm, we saw a herd of cows running at the far side of the hill. It was like nothing I've seen before. It was cute until we realized that the herd was heading our direction fast. It was when I remembered the scene when Mufasa was killed by the stampede. My 2 dear friends and I separated from the group coz it was too late. We took a different route, a steeper one as 2 persistent bulls tried to follow us. We crawled and ran as fast as we could until we reached a bamboo fence. When we reached the rocky footpath, it was already high tide. It was windy and was about to rain. We had to strategize and wait for the right moment to cross to avoid the angry, crashing waves.
I could say that the view and the experience were both breathtaking! Haha... I'll definitely be back.

The mountains, the Pacific Ocean, the grassland, the rock formations, the small lake, everything was made wonderfully awesome. It has so much to offer and it makes the heart full.
You have to pay small amount of entrance fee, environmental fee and parking fee. Minimum amount for tour guide is 200 pesos that can be shared by the group. I learned that there are at least 40 tour guides for Binurong and they only get 1 group in about 2-3 days. You can give more of what you have.
And again, respect the nature. Always be careful as dangerous as it...

A good time to visit is early morning or late afternoon when the sunlight is still forgiving as you need to tread at least a 20-minute walk from ticketing to the hill so you need an extra shirt/shorts to change later. There are guides along to tell you a story to ease your minutes of up and down road trekking. Don't forget to give them for the service they deserve as they will also be your photographers and videographers. Take note that going to the location before entering the vicinity for ticketing is zig-zaggy, narrow, and at times steep so for those with manual trans vehicles be wary of. The images of the hill shown will tell you a...
