This is my 3rd Trekking experience for the year and I would say one of the bucketlist that I will never forget... i am dreaming of seeing Pagsanjan Falls since I was a kid and dream really come true if you wanted it.. pagsanjan falls via Cavinti Trail. Pagsanjan Falls as known to many but as of the Cavinti locals, the falls is located at the map of Cavinti province so they also called it Cavinti Falls. We arrived at Cavinti jump off point around 630am and started to trek around 7am. 1 hour to 2 hour trek before reaching the captivating Falls. Trekking is via guided railed tracks and steel ladder and you're going to experience 2 rappel drop before reaching the falls. For me trekking goung to the falls is harder than going back. There is no other way to go back at jump off point unless tou will hire boatmen to bring you to pagsanjan. If you love nature, this is one of the best experience because you can actually swim behind the waterfalls (with vest of course) and also you will leave the location wet and back to the jump off point almost dry... Guide Fee : any amount will do Balsa fee or boat fee to the falls : any amount also or they called it TIP The good thing about it, we got a lot of freebies there...

We opted to walk, rather than take a boat. I enjoy walking, so it was perfect for me. But be aware that there are a lot of steep steps and a two ladder climbs (the guide lowers you down going in, but you have to climb back up). Definitely worth it. Take some extra cash to tip the guide and the men who take you out to the waterfall...

Have not gone to Pagsanjan Falls yet? This is the best way to go there.

Get to know a forestry part of Cavinti while trekking and rappelling your way to the majestic falls.

The guides and park staff are friendly. Our group indeed enjoyed the activities. I am positive you will also love...

The entire trail is safe and beginner friendly - but its not easy. Numerous almost 90 degree steps, with a 30ft- and 40ft- 90 degree climbs. Took us about 30-40mins each way but for reference: we're all in our early 20s and while the weather was nice, it drizzled from time to time during the trekk.
