This is my first time in Bantayan Island, and I expected it to be memorable. I came here with a group of office mates for our quarterly startegic planning. I fell in love with Bantayan, and I's like to come back here to the island with my family sometime in the future. But staying and coming back here to Bobel Beach might be totally a different story.
I like that the place has an accessible beachfront - you can always frolic by the beach and have a swim anytime of the day. I also like their cute gazebo. You can stay there, have a moment for yourself, and stare at a vast open sea thinking of nothing or just letting your stress wash away with the tides crawling the fine sands on the shore. To top it all, what made a huge impact for me coming back to this place was how they prepared the food. Our team provides them with food to cook so we can get on with our work. It's just amazing how standard the food is cooked, restaurant-like standards. Some of the foods she cooked for us were pansit bam-e, pork sinigang, grilled and adobong pusit, and more. The noodles were just cooked so enough that they didn't disintegrate with the other ingredients as the noodles were tossed. The pork part used in the sinigang soup were pork shanks, which were indeed the best part to use for that kind of dish. The monggo soup tasted just enough as you would expect.
On the other hand, the room/s would be one of the reasons why I have to look for other places if ever I come back to Bantayan Island. The room rates range from 2,500php (good for 2-3 pax excl extra charge for extra HC) to 3,500php (good for 4-5 pax excl extra charge for extra HC). While the rates seemed reasonable, I just noticed that not all.of.their towels are the same. The one I got even looked so worn out as if about to have holes as signs of wear and tear. We also requested to replace our sheets and blankets on the second day and sweep the room, but after our activity, our room and our sheets were the same and were not replaced. There were also parts of the day that the water pressure went down. When you're getting a shower on a second level room, and somebody uses water from rooms on the ground level, you shower will almost run out. Some shower fixtures and toilet bowl accessories need replacement, too. I wish they could better this area of their service, so I will consider going back to...
Read moreWe visited Bobel Beach Resort when my sister came home from the U.S. The resort is a small but cozy beachfront resort located in Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu, Philippines. It is a popular destination for both locals and foreign tourists.
The resort offers a variety of accommodation options, including beachfront cottages, family rooms, and standard rooms. All rooms are clean and comfortable, and they come with basic amenities such as air conditioning, private bathrooms, and cable TV. They have a decent size kitchen where you can cook and prepare your food.
The resort is also a good jump off point for exploring the other attractions in Bantayan Island, such as the Bantayan Church, Kota Beach (Sta. Fe), Kota Park (Madridejos), Ogtong Cave, and several Mangrove Eco-Tourism sites.
Here are some of the things that guests would love about Bobel Beach Resort:
The beautiful beachfront location The clear blue waters The relaxing atmosphere The friendly and attentive staff The affordable rates Proximity to the local markets to get additional supplies (food, drinks and cooking ingredients)
If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind while in Sta. Fe, Bobel Beach Resort is a great and more affordable option. It is a good size resort that has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay with...
