## A Hidden Gem in the Mountains Buwakan ni Alejandra was a breath of fresh air, literally and figuratively! Nestled in the cool mountain embrace of Balamban, Cebu, this beautiful garden offered a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. **A Floral Paradise:** Arriving late in the afternoon, we were immediately greeted by a symphony of colors. Flowers of all shapes and sizes bloomed across the meticulously landscaped grounds, from vibrant hibiscus to delicate lilies. Each corner offered a new visual feast, making it a photographer's delight. **Warmth Beyond the Cool Breeze:** Despite the slightly chilly mountain air, the friendly attendants exuded warmth and helpfulness. They readily answered our questions and even offered their expertise in capturing stunning photos and videos for free – a service that went above and beyond! **Affordable Tranquility:** We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable entrance fee, further adding to the appeal of this hidden gem. Even with several visitors enjoying the space, the vastness of the garden ensured there was always a quiet corner to relax and soak in the peacefulness of nature. **A Gentle Reminder:** Just a friendly heads-up for future visitors: the scenic mountain roads leading to Buwakan ni Alejandra can get foggy, especially late in the afternoon. So, if you're visiting during rainy season, take it slow and drive cautiously. The breathtaking views and serene atmosphere will be well worth the extra care! **Overall:** Buwakan ni Alejandra exceeded our expectations on all fronts. From the stunning floral displays to the welcoming staff and the tranquil atmosphere, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a nature escape in Cebu. I highly recommend it and rate it 5 out of 5 stars!

Flowers can make anyone happy, and to think there's a place full of it makes you want to visit right? This is the place where plantito's and plantita's can visit for landscaping ideas. I admire the time and effort of the owner has put into this. Landscaping is not an easy task, waiting for the plants to live and flowers to bloom takes a lot of patience and skills. An entrance fee of 55 Peso is collected upon entry, toilets are available in the area but water is weak. Parking space is available but street parking is the only option if the slots are full. Weather is like Baguio or Tagaytay like because this is located in the mountainous part of Cebu. Travel time is around 1hr and 45 mins from the city of Mandaue. Try to visit this place on ordinary days to avoid the crowds and especially the motorcycle riders that think they own the roads and has the authority to counterflow and overtake lanes all they want. There's a high chance of accident with those bikers around so beware. The road going here is sometimes steep and twisty.

Instagram able view with the thorough arrangement of flowers/garden. Surrounded with scenic sight of mountains which is pleasing to the eye. The area is relaxing with the fresh air. To all “Plantitas” this is your haven. They have guides who are enthusiastic and jolly that could assist you all throughout your visit. You are not allowed to cut or pick flowers. There will be a penalty. Entrance fee : They do have. CR : Clean Restaurant : They serve delicious meals where you can stay, eat and enjoy the view. Kid friendly : Kids must be attended. This is located is mountain area thus the ground is not leveled. There are slopes, elevated and slanting lands.
