Sayaw Beach Resort — Attraction in Cebu

Barili is not known for any beautiful white sandy beaches like the ones in Moalboal, and if you come to this place, you'll see why. Though despite its lack of sand, the crystal clear water makes up for it very well.

Situated facing the Tañon strait that separates the islands of Cebu and Negros, the beach offers one of the most captivating sunsets as the reflection of the sun dips through the clear ocean below, and the beautiful island of Negros looming across the horizon.

The beach has a convenience store/restaurant/registration area that sells a variety of items from snacks, drinks, hanging rice (puso), barbecues, eggs, and even wifi voucher codes. You will learn to love these voucher codes since the area has pretty bad signal receptions if you wish to stay online.

Rooms and cottages are available. We booked one of their standard rooms good for two during our stay. It has basic amenities which is worth its price. It has a tv, shower, some free toiletries, and is air conditioned. It has a balcony that offers a charming view of the area. It is here that I enjoyed the captivating sunset.

The place is okay but the management is not. Can't even change clothes after swimming in their vacant cottages. We didn't get one as we stayed for less than an hour only, just to let the kids dip in the water shortly. Their toilets were full so we tried to change outfit in one of the empty cottages, but were told to leave as cottages should be rented. I understand that, but it was almost 4pm, their closing time, and we wouldn't take long changing clothes. Sad😔

I recommend everyone to get a cottage if you go there even for a short time so you won't experience the same...

Affordable entrance fee, there are plenty of affordable cottages to choose.. until 4pm for regular rates, if you like to stay up until 8pm it is another rate also they have rooms to stay for overnyt from single to family rooms.. you can swim in the beach, the seawater is not muddy, there are stones everywhere but you can swim, that time the water level is i think in low tide..you cannot hear noises from vehicles, you can smell fresh air, it is a good place to stay with...
