Talisay Landing, locally known as Pagdaong sa Talisay, is a historical site where the U.S. 8th Army, commanded by General William H. Arnold and Captain Albert Sprague, together with Filipino guerillas led by Lt. James Cushing, landed on March 26, 1945 to reclaim the region from Japanese occupation during World War II.
Today, the area has been transformed into a park where people can hang out, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. There are plenty of food stalls offering barbecue and lechon, and a nearby beach resort where visitors can take a dip in the ocean.

Table and cottage rentals are cheap and there's a lot of food stalls and small stores, selling variant local foods to choose from(including lechon, barbeque, hanging rice, etc.) at very affordable price. You can also bring speakers with no extra charges. At the right side of the beach is a monument of a historic event in cebu during the 50's.
