I thought when we say public beach, there'll be no entrance fees, corkage and all aside from the main entrance fee heading to the resort for the help of their barangay of course. But we are asked for some fees. Like, when we reached one of their resort they asked us for the entrance fees of 20 pesos, not bad coz the place is already commercialized but what we're after is that we brought our own tents for our convenience for us not to rent tents but they're asking us payments or let's say corkage for it because for the use of the said space daw along the shore. Plus, the footmen are not accommodating, they let us follow them to where they're going while asking their help! C'mon it's their job to help us with the things that we need but they let us wait for almost an hour for us to reach them, where in fact, they're not busy that time cause we even caught them just sitting together with their friends talking and laughing. They'll just entertain you if they're finished having conversations with their friends and noticed that you're waiting next to them. Additionally, there's no water in each comfort rooms which causes stinky odor that's just so unpleasant. They got ugly, dirty expensive room rates and rent tents. Utilities are so poor. It's so disgusting to think that we came there to relax, and unwind but what we got was just purely disappointments. The next time my troops are planning for a vacation, we'll never go back to this place. I highly not recommend this place not because of the view but because of their attendants. It's not protest, but satisfaction and hospitality...
Read moreA very nice public beach located in the Alcoy. A perfect place for a quick getaway. With its white and very fine sand, you will surely enjoy swimming. This beach is not nothing compared to other beaches. This can shine too. The sands are white and very fine. But there are a few things that I don’t like here. It’s quite pricey which is unreasonable. From the table with four chairs will cost you 400. We decided to rent two tables and ask them to set it up under the tent but the staff said that it will cost us Php 1000.00 in total. Like what? As a traveler, I’ve been to a lot of beaches both in the North and South of Cebu but this is by far the most pricey and it’s not even a cottage. Considering that this is a public beach, it should be affordable to the public. Right? Not to mention the parking fee. It’s very expensive, much more expensive than the parking area in the city. Regardless if you would stay longer or not, they have a flat rate of Php 100.00 for parking. I even said that we will only be staying for like 3-4 hours but the parking fee is fixed (sigh). The entrance fee is Php 20.00 which is okay. One more thing, shower costs Php 50.00 per person. So we decided to take a shower in the house that we rented. One good thing is, they dont have corkage fee so you are free to bring as many food...
Read moreRecently visited this sort of private beach since, it incurs a fee to use the facilities. Quite a wide beach area although not much beach leading to the sea. I have no idea about the tide but, at 11 am and, 5pm tide was the same. Plenty locals taking advantage of the beach. Recommend that parental guidance for children because, the depth of sea advances fairly quickly. At about 15 to 20 metres the sea depth is about 1.2 metres ( 4 feet) deep. The safe swimming area is marked by a series' of bouys probably 50 metres out. Should imagine the sea at that point too deep for novice and, not strong swimmers. Overall a lovely beach but, adhere to my warning. There is no lifeguards just be careful and, have a nice time. There are facilities for a table, and chairs should you like to have a picnic 🧺. That's what the locals do. Once again, there is a charge but, probably worth it because, they will clear away any rubbish. There are a few sari sari stores on the beach as well as local vendors selling a variety of local good's. There is some parking close to the beach area . Off road parking. Never saw much in the way of restaurants , so take some food and, drinks with...
