My boyfriend and I got a small private boat and visited a few places around here.
Atwayan beach was beautiful. White sand, crystal clear waters and small bamboo huts to sit and relax and eat in.
We bought food in the Coron town Market that morning and cooked it on our boat but you can buy a few snacks on the beach as well as fresh coconuts. The water is lovely to swim in with small fish but we just chilled on the beach, eating and talking.
We saw a cute puppy (I named him Frank) I'm not sure if he was a stray or not because he did have mange and ticks but i fed him some of our left over fish anyway!
I would say go to this beach as it is very picturesque but i imagine it does get busy with tourist crowds as its only...

However be warned if you go to this beach at about 1pm you will be one of many people who have been taken there on organised tours. All boats park up and people litter the calm atmosphere. BUT instead get a private boat and get there at about 10.30am, have lunch at about 11.45am and then get the hell out of there.    Read moreOur ' Ultimate ' island hopping tour included Atwayan beach which was a clean beach with heaps of native style shelter sheds for the tourists to enjoy their meals in. There is a small store where you can buy snacks and cold drinks including very cold beers. Well worth visiting this island beach. All of the tourist came on organised tours.
