It was awesome here! Plenty of coconuts which the local community sells to tourists! p50 each is not bad considering you are in an island far away from the mainland.

The locals here also sell turon, banana cue as snacks to tourists which my children really loved. Turon was p25 each and had ube and biko in it. A bit oily but still, you can’t really be picky when on an island and you’re hungry.

I was also able to buy packs of dried squid here for p200 to bring home for myself and family as souvenirs 😄. I didn’t mind buying it from them, I don’t know for a fact if this is more expensive at the mainland but buying it from them ensured the whole income goes to them and no middle person.

The best part here, the fish feeding activity! You pay p100 per head and a man from their small island community takes you and your family out in a small boat towards the corals where there are LOTS of fish. You can hang on to the ropes on the sides of the boat if you can’t swim. We had our own snorkels but if you don’t have one, you can rent a set for p50. Once above the corals, they give you crackers you can hold out to the fish and what do you know, a whole school of them go crazy around you and start to nip at your crackers! Sometimes they don’t nip so you just crumble it a little and the fish come at you again. It was amazing! There was lots of corals to see as well and many clams! The big kind! My children enjoyed this very much, beats the Manila Ocean Park experience by far 😄. If you go here and you have kids with you, it’s something I...

Just wow!

The place was breath-taking. It was noon when we arrived at the island and there were some tourists but not really crowded.

Beach shore was clean (thank you for the locals and tourists for keeping this place clean). There were already some fish swimming at the shallowest part of the water.

There were huts/cabanas available for free to put your stuff or if you just want to hide from the sun 😁.

There was a small store which offered Turon, refreshment drinks (softdrinks or fresh coconut juice) and other snacks. Some merchants were selling authentic south sea pearls ( harvested from the pearl farm near the island). Price of the pearl jewelry were from 2000 to 8000 pesos. What I liked about them was that they were happy to show their trade but they were not insistent that you buy one from them. Very polite.

Of the 3 islands we visited that day -- this was my favorite. Wished we could have stayed there the longest. Sadly we only had an hour.

Our Kuya tour guide told us that the island was bought by Boracay Regency. So once they start the development, this will be off to non-paying public.. So if you're planning to go to Coron anytime soon, make sure to include this island in...

• Cambugahay Falls (y aller à l’ouverture) • Lugnason Falls • Paliton Beach • Salagdoond Beach • Tubod Beach MOALBOAL, Cebu📍 • Kawasan Falls • Sardin Run 💰 BUDGET POUR 3 SEMAINES POUR 2 : 3585€ soit 1792,50€ par personne.
