The Mayon Volcano is situated in the southern part of the main island of Luzon, 500 kilometres south of Manila. Towering at a height of 2,462 meters above sea level, it is known for its perfectly conical shape whose natural beauty has inspired a number of legends and art. The most active volcano in the Philippines and one 🌋of the most active in the world, having erupted over 51 times in the past four centuries, the most destructive of which is in 1814 when five towns in its periphery were destroyed. Nevertheless, it has developed a culture of resiliency among the inhabitants of its vicinity, who always rebuilt their towns and cultivated their fields after each destructive eruption 🌋

The Volcano is majestic. People here are nice and the experience is great. As a first time traveller here, when Mayon Volcano is only a photo in your elementary book, it's a goosebumps to see it personally. Its a huge mountain to stare and you can see it always while roaming the city. Hopefully i can visit this during summer when less clouds are visible that hides the crater of the volcano.

🔰 Mayon Skyline Brgy Buang, Tabaco, Albay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I super love their Comfort Rooms since I am very picky and I judged places by their CR's. Hehe 😬 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Views are great, its relaxing. Best place to unwind with family, friends and love ones. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Foods are deliciously awesome! Specially their Pancit Guisado 💓 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ People are very friendly too. All in All : WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE! 👍

When I was in elementary, I remember picking delicious berries behind the tall Talahib grasses in this park. There were also odd beautiful wild flowers growing by the roadside which I only encountered at this place.

It was a spot where I first experienced running into clouds with my cousins. I brought me great delight as a kid.

At the ridge, you will get mesmerised by the magnificent view of Albay and the blue sea.

I recommend going here with friends and family. Bring your kids. I am sure they will love it. It will give them memorable photographs hard-wired in...
