It wasn't an easy destination, to begin with. You have lots of things to consider such as the weather condition, time, and expense. In my case, I started my travel in the Poblacion of Daram Samar from there I need to decide whether to take a straight boat trip or a cutting trip (road and boat). But since I don't have much time I decided to take a cutting trip whereby it's tiring and time-oriented but at the same time it's more convenient. Note: Monbon Beach has a closing time and it's 5 pm.

There's a P200-300 rent for cottages. The residents were nice. The island has a VERY clear beach water that it felt like swimming in a purified drinking water hahaha. White sand with corals. Such a peaceful place to be. Boat travel from Catbalogan City to Monbon is approximately 3 hours. Worth the travel, really.
