For someone who loves scenic landscapes and sunset views this is the place to be. Located here in Hernani Eastern Samar. The people are hospitable and warm loving. An experience to the Filipino custom of being hospitable would be inevitable. The language here is waray-waray though you will not have a hard time in speaking with the locals because most of them understands the english language. When you get there the aquamarine color of the sea shall catch your attention, fresh air, fresh view, the ambiance, this place is good for solitary moments. This is also the perfect place to relax and escape somehow the crowded and polluted urbanization. Very easy to come here. If your coming from Tacloban City, you could ride a van, trip would usually last almost 3 hours. Well, when you get here, you'll realize that its all worth it. So gather your things and get ready to come over. Everybody is welcome. Enjoy the trip...
Read moreI didnt give it a 5 star coz the area was isolated. No signal and still no cemented road or maybe a cemented pathway. (But still good coz the area was still virgin from visitors.) You need to have a tour guide coz it is in the middle of the woods you'll get lost for sure and there is no residence around. If you are already at Canhugas Nature Park (The area is near to Canhugas) ask them if they know the place, or the locals there. They will help you. You can walk or ride a tricylce for 20pesos fair to the nearest shortcut. It is worth it if you saw the place. I recommend to visit the area on low tide or 12noon or in the afternoon so you can take a picture and can roam...
Read moreIt is a simple cove but I am amazed at how beautiful it is. Still untouched and I want it to stay that way so we can preserve its beauty. 15 to 30 minutes walk (depending on how fast you walk) to get there and a little treking since you have do decend down a big rocks( I think its corals, big corals) to get there, you can also take a beautiful view of the cove. You need a local guide to take you there or just the residents there. We were lucky because my bestfriend's boyfriend lives near there and we were able to borrow a motorcycle to get there. We walso went to the other side of the cove but we were not able to explore since it is hightide and it could get a...
