Hilangagan Beach, Borongan City, — Attraction in Eastern Samar

A beach located behind a mountain so to reach this beautiful beach, you have to walk up and down a mountain of Brgy. Punta Maria in Borongan City, Eastern Samar. According to the locals, this mountain is home to monkeys (which I haven't seen yet even once) and birds. The beach is formed by pebbles, tiny sea shells and dead corals. You get to swim in a pool crafted by nature, locally, called hilangag or some call it lungag, thus the name of the beach, hilangagan.
