Minasangay Island Ecological Park and Resort — Attraction in Eastern Samar

Minasangay Island Ecological Park and Beach Resort offers breathtaking views of the ocean that are truly captivating! Without a doubt! For those who are seeking an adventure like cliff diving, it's also available here. Just be sure to bring mosquito repellent or spray as there are plenty of mosquitoes in the cottage area.

But I would rate it 3 stars because even though the scenery is beautiful, there is so many things that needs an improvement.

Here's a suggestion for the resort management: If necessary, consider increasing the environmental fee if that would help you to improve the resort and remain the area clean and well-maintained. Because some areas are really dirty, specially the shower area and restroom facilities have an unpleasant odors. It's so smelly that you'd rather not even swim in the sea so you won’t get rinsing off your body to their shower room or using the restroom due to the dirty conditions and the clogged toilet bowl which causes flooding inside the restroom.

Hopefully, they address these concerns because it would be such a waste of this beautiful place if they just let it stay like this. We plan to return next year, and I'll update this review once I see some...

The place is great! The beach is clean. Though, you will notice liqour bottles hidden under one of the big rocks left by visitors (maybe they are saving it for recycling purposes). The maintenance team of the beach have to also keep their comfort rooms and change area clean coz some visitors just don't care or do not know how to use them properly. I also noticed table and chairs were placed under a big rock on the beach and I think placing them there so they could.accomodate more visitors, just ruined the view. They also need to post some signs stating "Clean as you go", "Please DO NOT THROW plastic or any garbage on the pools (it is where some of the protected fishes hide or live)" and also signs that says, "Please DO NOT SPIT ANYWERE!". If these are observed and followed, the place will be really so cool! my first visit to the place i was empress the beauty of the Area at first 30mtrs from the intrance was a hanging bridge then follow the rocky seawall with 5 diving cliff board the cottage was nice the view was perfect.. we are relax and enjoying our selfie pictures in.different places.. at around 1:30pm Tuesday April 23 2019 there was an Earthquake 6.5 magnitude at the epicenter was just 31kms. from Balangkayaan..the guest was advice to go out from the Resort, but there was nobody assist the guest they just let the guest go out the area with out any coordination.. emergency situation like earthquake management must assist the guest and see to it that there is head count on the guest.. we stay inside the resort but nobody come to us to check if we are okey.. anyway we enjoyed our stay even do there was no assistance from...
