Locals get in free... if not from the area, they check and there is a small fee per person... there is no charge in bringing your own food and drink.. and if you forgot to bring those... there are lots of stores that sell them near the parking lot... some of the store also let their customer use their restroom to get change or to use the loo...
The cottages we got was 350 and it was right at the river so it was cool even in .idday sun.
The water is clear but I noticed is that as the day progresses there are more floating debris (junk food packets, plastics, etc) seen... there are lots of people here this weekend but it does not feel crowded... the initial areas near the parking are more crowded but if you walk along the river, ut may be farther from the parking lot but there are fewer people...
The river is mostly shallow so it was fun for the kids with minimal fear of drowning for me... but I saw that further from where we were there is a spot where there are lots of teens jumping from a rock and they said that that part of the river is deeper.

Life is tough, but I really hope the small fee they collect actually helps them maintain the river and not go to red horse beer.
Grab some trash floating by the river. Saw people drinking on the nipas and thereafter left all their beer bottles and plastic cups... 😔
To help the place maintain its beauty, please don't leave any garbage, I doubt there is garbage collection coming here. So take all your garbage back home.

If you are coming from Angeles City, better to take a Jeepney from Sm Clark going to Florida Blanca and ask the driver to drop you off at a road or the path going to the Palacol it's about 25 minutes walk but if you're not into walking you can ask the jeepney driver to drop you off to the tricycle terminal in Florida Blanca .
