We really wanted to visit a lagoon during our time here and found Tung-Ab as a good option. The drive up to the site was a little rough in some patches but we were able to make it with no real issues.
Once we arrived, Nole, the only person there who appeared to speak English, informed us that the fee to enter the area is 60PHP/person, 250 for a baranguay required guide, and 50PHP to park our car there. I’m not sure it the guide is ACTUALLY required, or if that we just looked like we would pay it (which we did) but the 2km hike to the lagoon was not particularly challenging.
Our guide Reynaldo (sp?) led us on the half hour walk down and stayed with us while we swam. The rock on the right that juts out into the water is roughly 2m above the water, and is an easy jump in. Straight across from the entrance, there is a large rock that goes around 6m above the water. Both of these are safe jumping points, but it was helpful that Reynaldo showed me the safest spot to enter the water from the large rock.
