Majestic. 🌅
Cape San Agustin has a lighthouse that gives a 360-degree view of the Celebes Sea and the Municipality of Governor Generoso. At sunset, it flaunts a picturesque panorama of the sea. Beautiful rock formations can also be seen from Cape San Agustin.
It is situated at the southernmost part of Governer Generoso where the southernmost point of the Philippines is also located. The pavement road literally ends before the Cape San Agustin.
There’s weak signal in the area. Only Smart and Talk N Text can manage to communicate across borders. It’s not really an issue, but maybe in times of emergencies.
There are people managing the area. There are small dining places and vendors around. A particular dining place offers fresh catch of seafood to be cooked according to your preference, at a good price. Aside from food, they also have piso-wifi.
Cape San Agustin accepts arrangements such as photo shoots. They have decent comfort rooms and function halls for small gatherings. The place is well-lit at night and kept clean by the management.

Overall, it’s worth traveling to.
Cape San Agustin does not only offer majestic sights but also rich history such as the famous rock formation called “The Altar”. The entire Cape San Agustin is definitely a...

Second, for those who are like me; who brings their pets whenever they travel. Make sure to bring a leash and ask the karenderya owner if you can leave your pet. Since pets are not allowed inside the parola.
Third, don’t forget to bring a bottle of water especially if you are planning to visit duting summer season. It can really get quite here.
Fourth, enjoy the view! And please don’t litter. Maybe we can’t have this as a safe haven for ourselves, but we can be...
