Title: Unforgettable Adventure at Hindang Cave and Wild Monkeys
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review: I recently had the most extraordinary experience at Hindang Cave and Wild Monkeys. This hidden gem exceeded all my expectations, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.
The adventure began with a fascinating exploration of the cave system. The natural formations and stalactites left me in awe of nature's wonders. As we ventured deeper into the cave, the sight of bats hanging from the ceiling added an enchanting touch to the experience. It was truly a surreal and magical encounter.
But the highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the encounter with the wild monkeys. These playful creatures greeted us with curiosity and friendliness. To my astonishment, one of the monkeys climbed onto my shoulder, creating an unforgettable and heartwarming moment. It was an interaction I will cherish forever.
I must commend the guide for their exceptional knowledge and expertise. Their passion for the caves and the monkeys was evident in their explanations and interactions. They provided insightful information about the species, their behavior, and the importance of conservation efforts. Their guidance enhanced the entire experience and ensured our safety and enjoyment throughout the tour.
The overall atmosphere of Hindang Cave and Wild Monkeys was tranquil and immersed in nature's beauty. The serene surroundings allowed me to appreciate the natural environment and disconnect from the bustling city life. It was a refreshing escape that rejuvenated both my body and soul.
I highly recommend Hindang Cave and Wild Monkeys to anyone seeking an extraordinary adventure. Read moreEntrance fee is p20/per and parking is p20/veh. There are lots of shaded parking for vehicles. This great attraction is true to their name, it has both monkeys and caves all in one trip! Love the wild long tail macaque monkeys, especially mother with baby. They are everywhere, not like other monkey reservations we’ve seen in Dumaguete. The main cave, cathedral cave, can be reach to keep the left trail. These are series of cave on a limestone mountain that keeping us intrigued. Few large caves are home to fruit bats, bat’s guano literally coated the cave floor and we stayed out of those caves to avoid histoplasmosis. Rock formations are still growing as water continues dripping from above. The smaller Pandong-Bato Cave toward the zip line has some picnic tables. Love the natural look of cement railings that imitate tree trunks👍For the quality of the attractions and low entrance/parking fees, we feel this is the best tourist spot thus far. Just be sure to take your times up these crazy...
Read moreThe ride to getting there on a motorcycle with four people on it, was already the first adventure, not dangerous, but a little uncomfortable. We were there on a Wednesday and were the only ones there. We went up without a guide. That was not a good idea because the monkeys came very close to us. They look cute, but an attempt to touch one would almost go awry. They become aggressive very quickly. The climb on a concrete path and concrete stairs could have been made more natural, but it was still very exhausting at 38 degrees heat. When we arrived at the First Caves, this great effort was quickly forgotten. The view was fantastic and the caves with their little hiding places was a very nice experience. You should also bring enough drinking water. All in all it was another very interesting and nice trip that you should not miss when traveling in...
