We get to hear this place when we visited Paoay Church and some locals offer us a discount. A friend of mine has visited Laoag Sand dunes and told us this one is smaller. We visited around 9AM and it's hot already. The ride was fun and the drivers will drive rough especially when you ask them to. They also have sand slide and I get to try it for free. They offer Photo ops but you have to pay 100php/photo. They won't let you copy your photos for free but they will if you purchase 7 photos. My friend told me you can get soft copies of your photos for free in Laoag. I was really sad because the photos turned out nice. Out of budget so I did not avail it. We avail of the two trucks for 4000php but its normally priced at 5000php. It was a great experience for a first timer like me.

One of the most hottest place to go. This is a deserted place in Ilocos. And many tourist will never leave Ilocos without visiting and trying this Adventure of going to the Sand Dunes. This is one of my most thrilling adventure I've ever had. Riding a 4x4 is thrilling enough but riding it in the Sand Dunes going down without seat belt is the best! Specially the last lap where you have to wish for your life and say bye to your soul! (no exaggerating here) πŸ˜±πŸ˜‚ It was also fun doing Sand Surfing where you have to had the strength to slide down and have balance to avoid rolling down like a log πŸ˜‰ This is my greatest experience I have ever had and will love doing it again. 😍😘

Prepare 2,500 pesos, ride a 4x4 and try the sand board. Don't bring a bulky DSLR camera as it might get broken during the bumpy and thrilling ride. A handy Go Pro and handphone with a great camera will do just fine. Better bring a tiny backpack rather than a shoulder bag to secure your stuff. You need at least one or both your hands on the bars to keep you in the vehicle during the ride. Enjoy!
