We visited Ilagan Sanctuary, February 14, 15, 16. 9 of us stayed both nights at the Hotel which included 3 beds, plus 3 extra mattresses and private bathroom. The place is amazing and we definitely recommend 2 nights there. There are multiple spring water pools, caves, a small zoo, zip line, cable car, boats, waterfall hikes, a playground, and a very reasonable cantina with excellent pansit. Breakfast for 9 cost us less than 500p! The staff is incredible, the volunteers guides work for tips only, and ours was very knowledgeable, patient, and physically guided our kids through the rougher terrain. As amazing as this place is, since we attended midweek, we nearly had the place to ourselves in terms of guests. To my knowledge, we were the only overnight guests, and in our 3 days there we saw less than 50 other visitors! The cost from American perspective is super cheap. The gate cost us just over 1000p for the 9 of us and then when we decided to stay, the entrance fee was subtracted from room fee which was 4000p for the large room, or 3000 for the smaller room. This novel and beautiful place definitely deserves 5 stars!

One of the many attractions that Isabela has is the Ilagan Sanctuary, a very beautiful place we can all relax together with our friends, relatives and our families. Ilagan Sanctuary is the most visited tourist spot in Ilagan City today. It is a protected area located in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range in Brgy. Ilagan Sanctuary is a tourism place in progress. I'm proud for the governments effort because i have aplace near our home to show to our visitors. but to maintain is part of sustaining its attraction. I'm glad that our tourist guide really emphasized that we should not touch living stalactites etc so that it will not die. A lesson for me. I was able to see 3caves only but there's more. My companion enjoyed the cable car and 350 meter zipline. There's also the animal kingdom-Stone and living and obstacle course. Since I don't feel well, I was not able to explore the place well if they have overnight cottages or other accommodation. Up to this writing, entrance is 100/pax. Trekking to the caves and animal kingdom is free while there's a fee for other amenities etc. It is still fun to be there and its good for family bonding.

Location - Accessible but only up to the entrance afterwards you can wait for the train type transpo inside or walk.

Rides - A lot of rides to try including zipline and cable car.

Zoo - You will still find amazing animals but lack of maintenance is noticeable.

Swimming pool - Good enough to satisfy yourself during a hot westher but they can do better especially there is a flowing water from the falls nearby.

Cottage - Good enough for things and food preparation but nothing especially.

Rest rooms - One reason I gave 3 starts. Given there is an entrance fee of 100 per head, it is unacceptable to have a very dirty and not maintained rest rooms. Thumbs down with this. ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Nature Attraction - There is a good water falls to visit nearby with good nature experience while walking.

OVERALL - A fair enough place to visit with your family especially during hot summer weather. Just consider bringing a car or any mode of transportation if you are with family and most...
