Best beach I've been to so far, still pristine despite being commercialized these recent years. The beach resort is orderly, clean, and staff very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The rate of PHP600 per head is a steal which is already consumable with the food, and look at that menu and servings! Lots to choose from the menu. You even get inclusive one gallon of mineral water. The commute going there is convenient even for public mode, not for the initiated though as it requires a short 5 minute, local motorized boat ride (special can be arranged for a more expensive yet fair and affordable price) from the Isabela City port, and a habal-habal (or mini truck/van for groups) ride to get to the other side of Malamawi Island. Special accommodations though can be arranged with the local Tourism office or directly with the locals. Common and usual precaution when dealing directly with locals apply. Overall, one...

Malamawi Island where the whitest and finest sand can e found. Malamawi White Beach Resort is owned by one of the political individual in the province. The area is relaxing because it is surrounded by coconuts and trees which protects the cottages against the sun. As mentioned, there's a long stretch of super fine white sand and the water is cool and crystal clear, can be compared to what...
