They also facilitate communication with the locals and ensure you’re safe while enjoying the site.

Read moreI ruined my experience here by being annoyed that after paying the entrance fee, that you couldn't swim at the bottom pool without people swinging dangerously over you. And then finding out that to swing (once!) cost 50 pesos. I had no idea of the people offering the swing really worked here. The price is not sign posted.
I saw the locals swinging a few times, but didn't see them paying multiple times.
At the top, I asked some workers who checked my ticket and they thought it cost 100 per swing. I asked the tourist police, they said 50. I asked the actual policeman who said 50 pesos for unlimited swings (on a single swing). I asked if these people were paying tax, as there's no receipt of payment, he said we're just trying to keep the peace. I've read in the 7/11 if there's no receipt, you don't have to pay for the goods. Also, many small shops note down every sale in a book the keep the tax collector happy, but not here.
I think the workers inside are charging too much for this, and it should be included in the entrance price, or at least the price should be signposted outside. I think they don't pay tax and share the profits the policeman outside who does nothing. Alas, I have no proof of this.
At least the workers take some very nice Instagram shots (seems to be included in the 50 pesos).
If you go in knowing about the extra fees, it is truly beautiful and you can have a...
Read moreThis destination has become incredibly popular—not only for its breathtaking natural scenery but also for its range of unique activities, such as the “fairy walk” and river rafting, both of which have gained traction thanks to social media influencers.
Visitors should be aware that reaching the site involves a descent and climb of approximately 180 steps, along with a trek through natural trails that include river crossings and narrow, often muddy paths. Appropriate footwear and a reasonable level of fitness are recommended.
The highlight of the experience is the fairy walk, located at the farthest point of the route. While it requires some effort to reach, the setting is truly enchanting and well worth it.
Due to its popularity, particularly on weekends and public holidays, be prepared for queues at the main attractions. Arriving early in the morning is advisable—not only to enjoy a quieter experience but also to secure easier parking.
Consider bringing a picnic or snacks if you plan to spend a few hours, as on-site food options may be limited. Tables are available for rent to store belongings, but these are not secure. It’s best to carry only essentials and use a waterproof bag to keep your items with you.
Overall, this is a rewarding spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers—just come prepared for the...
