Too expensive entrance fee of 75 pesos per adult. The park is beautiful but it's very small for a very steep entrance fee.
The food kiosks inside seem very struggling. They are becoming very aggressive to entice potential customers by flashing their placards menu to bypassers and and encouraging them to dine in with their promos. There are so many vacant stores and so many vacant chairs that implies how the business inside is struggling.
I hope the management can consider alternative pricing schemes such as free entrance if someone purchased food above 500 or above etc.
It seems this private park is marketed for one time travelers and not for locals and visiting feels best during night time only. I feel bad because the Bicol Region has one of the lowest minimum wages yet the park entrance here is way too expensive. I pity the locals.
It's my first time here but I don't see myself returning back anytime soon. You may opt to visit government/ LGU owned parks that are bigger and cheaper if you want total whole day park experience I suggest you may visit Albay Wildlife Park, Sumlang Lake, Quitinday Hills. These are great...
Read moreI went to Highlands Park in Legazpi City, Albay last weekend and I had a blast. It was my first time to visit the amusement and adventure park and I was amazed by the variety of rides and attractions they had. It gave me a panoramic view of the city and the Mayon Volcano. The park was clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The prices were reasonable and affordable. I would definitely recommend Highlands Park to anyone who wants to have fun and adventure in Legazpi City. It is a must-visit destination for families, friends,...
Read moreAwesome overlooking view of Legazpi City. It's a short drive away from the city. Road is steep going up but relatively new, smooth, and got no problem driving up with our 10-year old 1.4 Sedan. We went there about 3 or 4 pm and the sun was still burning hot so we could not go around as freely as we wanted but we got a nice view of the city. Lots of food stores and cafes but most of the seats are exposed to the sun. We'd like to visit again in the future but at a bit later time of the day; to avoid the scorching sun and see the city lights in the...
