Easy 1.5H drive one way to/from Tagaytay. We used Tagaytay as our NCR midway point to have lunch before heading out to Lian. Google Map provided correct directions, just be wary of mobile data dead spots.
The 2 story wood structure is situated along a string of huge private and commercial properties. During our weekday 2nights' stay, we hardly saw other revelers or vacationers in the area. The cove provided privacy while the endless shallow beach was perfect for our little grandkids. The water was clean and clear though full of schools of fish. Being shallow and not near the open sea, we enjoyed the rhythmic lapping of tiny waves in an almost glass like beach. The beach hammocks were a favorite and gave us great vantage points to stargaze. The property is surrounded by plenty of plants so bring bug spray for those sensitive to creepy crawlers.
Kitchen was spacious and had this big open window facing the dining area, where you can easily pass dishes from the kitchen. Usual kitchen tools were available for use. The ref was big enough to store food for our 12 pax. Fresh catch of the day were regularly brought by fisher folks every morning. Lapulapu, Samaral, lumot squid were offered.
Dining area was good for 12-14 people. Solid wood table, kid high chair and ample seating were available. Huge fans were available in all the areas. No moldy or stinky appliances or furniture.
Their Kapeng Barako was a hit among my family. Starbucks pods were available for a fee. Nearest sari-sari store is more than 75meters so better to bring your consumables.
We had fun doing karaoke at the second floor until the 9pm curfew. There were tons of board games or you can surf using their wifi. Lots of outdoor seating sets for those not fearful of getting sunburned. Tiki lights were plentiful to add to the beach vibe. The elderly or young ones can readily skoot to the beach via the wide stairs.
We used 4 bedrooms and we were so happy to find ensuite baths in each one. Thick and clean towels were provided together with the environmentally friendly bamboo toothbrushes and toiletries. Water pressure was strong so we were not scared of it running out like in other resorts. Heaters were also functioning. The aircon in each room were functioning really well and looked clean. I hate it when rentals have dust logged a/c.
The 3 caretakers were there to open the place but remained respective of our privacy.
Cost for the whole place per night is within the acceptable price range. Privacy and cleanliness are...

After having gone through a long period of grief and loss caused by the untimely demise of some of our loved ones, my husband and I booked this place to give us and my siblings a chance to reconnect and draw insights from our shared grief. The place had enough space for us to congregate in one place as well as break into smaller groups to dwell in our own private thoughts.
The place is well-maintained by caretakers who were quite helpful, friendly, and unobtrusive. It is well stocked with almost all the things we needed for a stress-free vacation. Both the place and people responsible for its upkeep were respectful of our privacy which really matters to us. Friendly fishermen also paid us a visit to sell to us their freshly caught fish or pearls strung into bracelets or necklaces. It also offers a number of board games and books to keep us entertained. There is also an electronic massage chair for anyone to use after spending a tough afternoon on the beach.
And though we experienced some inconveniences, the charm of that old colonial house and the breathtaking view were more than enough to compensate for the unintended or unforeseen hiccups.
We definitely intend to revisit it in the future as well as give the place our two thumbs-up or 5-star...
Read moreJust before Holy Week, my family and I booked a 4-day vacation at Blue Beach Home. I have to admit, I have visited many beaches and resorts in the Caribbean, The French West Indies, Bermuda, Honduras, Belize, Bali...name it... and while these resorts and beaches were great, what makes Blue Beach Home in Batangas so special is that feeling that you get when you have the place…an entire five bedroom home complete with all the amenities that provide you with comfort all to yourself and your family! Not to include you have the beach all to yourself and right in front of the beach house! The beach is a fantastic phenomenon and the fun that comes along with it is overwhelming. My family and I couldn’t get enough of it and its pristine waters! The sun sets on the horizon are simply breathtaking! We did not want to leave the beach but experiencing the comforts of Blue Beach Home itself is a pure delight! It offers modern appliances in a full and complete kitchen, a dining table enough to fit more than a dozen, several lounging areas, a massage chair, tv on the second floor, and five very comfortable rooms with their own bathrooms and high-speed fiber optics WIFI!
