DISCLAIMER: Sa beach po kami Hindi sa Mangrove forest ☺️ Anyway we were invited by my husband's friend to come to Lobo. On the way there, expect some zigzaggy road. Lobo is located near the mountains so the elevation is high. Newbie drivers on this road should be very careful as there are sharp twists and turns. We saw the Mangrove forest before reaching the sea. There was a detour because the road was under construction when we came. What's good is that there were barangay tanods who stood ground and gave directions to visitors. We went to the beach during daybreak, around 5am. Caveat as the sand is not as powdery like Station 1 in Boracay, there are pebbles along the way to the shore. We rented a kubol for P1,500 (after much negotiations) and the distance to the water is like 2 or 3 meters. The kubol has electric sockets to plug your rice cooker, charger, etc. The water is clean kahit na nasa Pampang ka pa lang. Unlike in Calatagan, where it's like a huge kiddie pool, this beach in Olo-olo has a decent depth to it. A buoy is there to let you know where it gets deep. There were also boats on the shore and some drift wood that serves as "sofa" that you can take pictures of. What's incredible is when the sun was about to rise, you can see the contrast of colors very well...like the light slowly creeps into a blanket of darkness. Overall, I'd say we enjoyed this trip to the beach.

If you are looking for an adventure, this is the best resort in Lobo, Batangas that you would want to explore. Before you reach the main resort, you will be riding a “balsa”, a boat made from bamboo and it was manipulated by 3 men wherein there is a rope that they need to pull for it move. It took 10 minutes to arrive but it is fun and exciting. There is a fee of 70 pesos per head for the balsa and I think it is already affordable and is a great help for the kuyas pulling off the rope. The resort is really clean and not rocky. The beach is clean. Cottages are also affordable. Personnels are kind and approachable and a tourist guide is there to guide you whenever you want to have a sight seeing. Visit this place and enjoy the ride. 😊

I love the balsa ride! The tour guide and staff were very entertaining and accommodating. I love the look of the beach and the lagoon. I enjoyed the tour and would like to come back to stay longer with my family. Very budget friendly place with scenic view.
