Dream Falls is a hidden gem located in the municipality of Luisiana, Laguna, Philippines. Nestled deep within the lush tropical rainforest, this natural wonder offers a serene and refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Here's a detailed experience of visiting Dream Falls: **Getting There:** To reach Dream Falls, you'll need to embark on a journey through the countryside. From Manila, it's about a 2-3 hour drive, depending on traffic conditions. The route takes you through picturesque landscapes, small villages, and winding roads that gradually lead you into the heart of nature. **Trekking Through the Forest:** Upon arrival at the entrance of Aliw Falls, you'll need to register and pay a small entrance fee. From there, the adventure truly begins. A well-marked trail leads you deep into the rainforest. The trek is a delightful experience in itself, as you'll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the forest. Tall trees, chirping birds, and the occasional glimpse of wildlife make the journey truly immersive. **Chasing Waterfalls:** As you follow the trail, the sound of rushing water gradually grows louder. You'll come across several smaller cascades and pools along the way, where you can take a refreshing dip. These spots are great for cooling off and taking photos. **Aliw Falls:** Finally, after a 30-45 minute trek, you'll arrive at Dream Falls. The sight of the waterfall is nothing short of breathtaking. Dream Falls is a multi-tiered waterfall, with the main cascade standing around 25 feet tall. The water plunges into a crystal-clear pool, inviting you to take a dip. **Swimming and Relaxation:** The pool at the base of Dream Falls is the perfect place to swim and cool off. The water is cool and rejuvenating, offering a welcome respite from the tropical heat. You can swim right up to the base of the waterfall and feel its invigorating spray on your skin. There are also rocks and boulders around the pool where you can relax, have a picnic, or simply enjoy the serene surroundings. **Nature and Photography:** Dream Falls is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. The lush greenery, vibrant flora, and the glistening waters provide endless opportunities for capturing stunning photos and creating lasting memories. **Return Journey:** After spending a few hours at Dream Falls, you'll need to make the trek back to the entrance. It's advisable to start the return journey well before sunset to ensure a safe and comfortable hike back. Visiting Dream Falls is an incredible adventure that immerses you in the beauty of nature. It's a place where you can relax, unwind, and connect with the natural world, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a serene escape in the Philippines. Ps. Dream falls is Also known as Aliw falls.

Aliw Falls is a very beautiful falls. The jumpoff is at the Dafi Resort. It is well worth it to pay the guide fee of 350 pesos. The half hour walk is not difficult, but the trail does go over some slippery rocks, and the guide will help you with this. Try to go before 9 AM to see the red lotus flowers along the trail. These bloom all year, but you need to be early to see them open. The falls run in the dry season, but they will be more dramatic after heavy rains.
