This is our first stop for our Bau-Bau (local tricycle) tour of Mati City. We paid 2k to go around the city to our trike driver. I think you can still haggle, but according to our driver, life is tough in this part of the town, and jobs are scarce, so we paid in full. He brought us to Pangyan Falls where we paid P30/head to enter. Our driver also served as our tour guide. He first brought us to Pangyan Falls. It's a ten-minute easy hike going to the falls. Wear comfortable, fast-drying footwear as the path can be wet, slippery, and rocky. After taking photos in the ice cold falls, there are man-made pools which also serve as hotsprings. Read more8/25/24 I would give 5 since the waterfalls are awesomely great! It gave me a one with nature vibes with its fresh & could mountain water. The area is yet to be developed, which is why I opt for 4 stars, but road constructions are on the works. There are simple cottages made by the locals that can still be improved. Rest rooms & tourist tables near the river need improvement. I just hope that the locals & and tourists will help each other be responsible for protecting this wonderful creation. Read moreComing from Norway, the waterfall and "River" wasn't exactly breathtaking, but it's absolutely a nice place when seemingly clean water and a perfect temperature. The "hot spring" was a bit over crowded and didn't feel very fresh, but a nice option for those who need something warmer. The area has great potential and I wish there was more opportunities for exploring the area around and above the waterfalls. You basically go from end to end in a couple of minutes.
