It was a Very Hot Day and taking a Dip at the Fountain of Youth was just what i needed! Definitely worth the Trip! No Food or drinks available here to be sure to buy everything you need before going here. Enttance fee is P100 but if you have the Environmental Fee Ticket from Mahatao you just need to pay P50. Open everyday from 8 to 5pm. Going up and down is a Rock Path so it might pose a problem to persons with Mobility Problems. If you get tired of the Spring, the beach is jusy beside it, but be sure to wear Aqua Shoes as the...

I came upon this place while browsing in Google looking for new places to visit. This is my 2nd time in Batanes and I wanted to see more. It is so timely that after going to the museum and learning how the tribes erected their houses a long time ago, we had a trek here at this spring. It was a bit of a hike on a stone path and thru a steep stairway. But the sight at the bottom was worthwhile. Beautiful and serene. An environmental fee has to be paid to enter. Note: Not for those who have...

There is a short trek leading to a spring that features a man-made pool, which is about 5 feet deep. The water flows from the mountain, so you can expect it to be quite cold. The beautiful backdrop of Mount Iraya makes this spot even more appealing. Just be cautious, as the area can be a bit slippery due to algae present both inside and outside the pool during my visit.
