Been here countless times and indeed never get tired and will always keep coming back. The route going to the falls already been cemented over the years. There are times that we need to walk barefoot due to the muddy, narrow walk path leading to the falls-good thing on our recent hike like 2013 it is already cemented however not totally the entire path but at least it is no longer muddy and narrow. The falls undergone improvements as well, they made a water stopper to make a little pool at the base of the falls which is indeed good since the cemented water stopper is an added area where once could stay and enjoy the flowing waters. Majayjay Local government should have people roaming around the falls area to remind visitors to tidy their garbage and they should prohibit drinking liquors in the area. LIKES: lovely ambiance-it makes you escape the polluted metro for awhile, cemented pathways leading to the pool, cold water cascading down the falls, beautiful scenery, DISLIKES: garbage every where, there are CR but un-usable and badly needs repair, no cottages in the area- so you have to bring your own chair or if you feel using the big mountain stones might do for you, lack of garbage bin, undiciplined people who do not know how to tidy their trash.

Even on a summer season the water here is icy cold. you can even see your own breath when you are sitting by the water. The natural waterfalls is managed and maintained by the LGU. Entrance is only 50 pesos/head. Seniors and kids below 7 are free. There are rooms that you can rent by the stairs going down to the falls, but I would strongly discourage you to rent those. They are super cheap, and you will really see and feel it when you stay. It would be far better to rent rooms near the Barangay where you will make the entrance payment. Those are way better and maintained well. Do adding a thousand will definitely be worth it. You can cook your own food by the falls. You can also rent tables and tents so you can have a picknick by the river at the foot of the falls. So you can eat and dip, and repeat. Entrance fee is good for the entire day, so if you want to make the most of it you can come in the morning, set up camp, stay and have fun, then leave by 5pm or stay overnight in one of the cabins by the barangay hall.

Majayjay Falls in Laguna is a fantastic destination for nature enthusiasts and families seeking an outdoor adventure. The trek to the falls is a pleasant 20-30 minute walk from the jump-off point, allowing visitors to enjoy the lush scenery along the way. With an affordable entrance fee of just 50 pesos, it’s an accessible spot for many. The clear, cool waters of the falls provide a refreshing experience, making it an ideal location for swimming and relaxing. There are also a variety of transient houses available for those looking to stay nearby, offering accommodations to suit different budgets. However, it's important to note that the place can get very crowded during weekends and public holidays, as there is no crowd control in place. To avoid the crowd and fully enjoy the beauty of the falls, it's recommended to visit on weekdays and bring your own portable table and chairs if you plan to eat in the area.

The place would have been a haven for nature lovers but it turned out a disappointment. No signages around, we relied on Waze to find it. Upon arrival, there is a registration table that will ask you to register at least one name and pay up P50 entrance fee per person. Then when you get to the parking place, people are busy getting the P100 parking fee. Nothing is given in return as proof. Still no signages, we had to ask where is the way to the falls. There is a “gate” in the corner of the mini market and stores in the area. There they will get the stub you were given for the entrance fee. The trek to the falls is a bit long, more of like a kilometer walk but it was a cemented trail so it made the trip easier. The only thing we noticed was that certain portions of the track is prone to landslides and it is evident with soul erosion present. When we got to the place, it was jampacked. You pick the spot good enough for you. Everyone is everywhere, eating, drinking and even washing their used oliy plates in the water when people farther down the running river swim unknowingly. They bring with them chips and alcohol but were very disrespectful of rules. They leave their trash where they were. One was even literally taking a bath - using soap in the water. We only stayed for a couple of hours and left. No one told you to travel light, the trek is not fun with big bags in tow. Don’t expect a decent bath after, the comfort rooms and shower areas are either closed or very dirty. No safety measures around, ropes for easy access as the boulders were slippery with moss. Honestly, the DENR. signage that says it protects the place is but a mere scam. Too bad I didn’t take pictures. The pile of empty mineral water bottles completely tell a very sad story. I’m not saying don’t go, the beauty of the falls is still there but as sure as we were standing there we know it’ll be...

Firstly this is not for everyone especially if you have difficulty walking. Entrance fee is only ₱20 per person parking fee ₱50 and you will be offered a camping tent for ₱400 which I suggest you avail as there is no place to set down your things. Getting to Majayjay falls itself involves a steep walk down a narrow stone stairs from the parking lot then a very long walk to the camping grounds. The camping grounds it self is scattered and most of the time is uneven, but local people will set up the tent for you and they happen to know where the flat surfaces are, at the time when we visited this place there were no camping tables so we had to settle for the tent were we kept all of our back packs and equipment to keep them dry. There is a common grilling station and they also allow makeshift grills by the tents if the common grilling station if far from your tent. We managed to get a tent spot near the falls itself which is a convenience and we grill all our food next to our tent using 3 rocks and a small screen fecing left by previous visitors. Overall reviews of this place about how refreshing and peaceful this place is is 100 percent true. Very clean clear cold waters from mount banahaw will take all your stresses away. There is concrete path leading to the falls itself however the camping grounds are very uneven with some rocks covered with moss and algea hence very slippery. Overall very worth the trip and this place is 10/10 for me...

you want detail review? very well.... first the place is SO FAR from the main terminal so if you are going there by foot and just using public transportation at least go there before 5pm strikes the clock because there are time trips for public transpo like from sta cruz-majayjay &vice versa: 7am-9am and the next trip will be 4pm-5pm. so i sigguest suggest to go there VERY early in the morning to enjoy and have enough time to have fun at the falls. there are rooms and tent to be rented if you want to stay overnight, the room starts at 800pesos and the tent is about 250pesos. the locals are quite friendly BUT not all of them are because there are some locals like the man at thr brgy hall is very sarcastic and very annoying as well as the man in the terminal. well if you only be going there for the falls and to appreciate nature i recommend this falls and it is better to go there with you OWN car. the environmental fee is 20pesos and 30pesos if overnight. the fare price is not constant especially in trycicle because they take advantage of tourists that doesnt know the place and they make them pay high fare than the standard, because i repeat the locals are NOT that honest and NOT that friendly also . not ALL but there are some you will encounter. but hey, at least the falls is...
