One of the best/famous churches in the Philippines. At the back of the church is a model of Calvary with life-sized statues of the Stations of the Cross. The Guadalupe Chapel at the church basement where the picture of Our Lady is enthroned with its flowing water that many pilgrims consider healing. The Rosary Hill, Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes where people can pray for good health, the Grotto of the Resurrection for long as they hear the water gush from the falls, the Saint Faustina Hall, an auditorium where Sunday Masses are held due to the large population of devotees in the shrine. The Shrine offers the Little Poland Museum that feature depictions of the house and basement where Pope John Paul II lived, the Chapel where Faustina Kowalska had a vision of the Divine Mercy and the prison cell of Maximillian Kolbe where he was martyred.

A truly peaceful and sacred place for prayer and reflection. The National Shrine and Parish of the Divine Mercy offers a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for pilgrims and visitors seeking spiritual renewal. The church’s architecture is beautiful, and the well-maintained grounds include a Way of the Cross, a Rosary Hill, and a chapel dedicated to infants, adding to the depth of the experience. Masses are solemn and uplifting, with inspiring homilies that resonate with the faithful. The Divine Mercy statue is a breathtaking sight, serving as a powerful reminder of faith and devotion. Despite the number of visitors, the place remains orderly and peaceful. A must-visit for those looking to deepen their faith or simply find a quiet place to pray. Highly recommended!

This Shrine is found in the center of the town within a large area of land with plenty of parking space. Aside from the main church, there is a larger covered area where the fiesta masses are held. This is where we heard Mass during the Feast of Divine Mercy. Behind the shrine is the largest statue of Jesus King of Mercy, erected on the deck of a four story building. The roof deck where the statue stands can be accessed by elevator or stairs where one can enjoy a sweeping view of the town. This building is also a center where retreats or conferences can be held. We went here during the feast day so parking and traffic is a problem we have to deal with. But still it is a very blessed experience to make a pilgrimage and hear Mass in this shrine.

Been going to this church for almost all my life. People visit here because of what they say is a miraculous water guided by Our Lady of Lourdes. They have three altars, one in the main Faustina Hall, another one in the middle that is set outdoor and lastly in the main dome (pictured below). The newest building they have is the Divine Mercy Institute - a 4-storey building with a 100ft statue of the Divine Mercy. They have a centre dedicated to Saint Pope John Paul II and a life-sized Stations of the Cross. Parking wont be a problem because they bought the lot on the back of the Shrine that can accomodate almost 60 cars at a time. But on a Sunday, expecr heavy car and foot traffic as people flock there.

This is one of the most beautiful churches I've been in. I happened to visit this church because it's where the wedding of one of my friends was held. As shown in the pictures, there's a lot of glass mosaics and it is well lit. They also have electric fans so even though the sun is up, you'll still feel nice inside the church. There's a spacious parking at the back of the church for those who are not taking public vehicles. This church is just along the road by the way and so you shouldn't miss it if you're taking public transportation. By the way, I visited on a weekday and was attending a private event so the experience might be different on a weekend, especially Sunday.

Located on the rocky hilltop few kilometers from Manila, stands the Shrine dedicated to the Divine Mercy and one of the most blessed pilgrim sites in the country. The place has become a destination for pilgrimages due to numerous cases of healings and conversions. The people who come and pray could attest to the sacredness of the place that combines Nature’s bliss with their yearning to be blessed. Somewhere somehow, they feel that the Mercy of God is so immeasurable. The intense feeling as the pilgrims arrive to this place of serenity creates an attraction to always come back and relish their experiences at the Shrine.
