Armabel Beach Resort — Attraction in Mariveles

The place is a hidden gem in the town of Mariveles. It is famous locally as a camping site. The beach is a long walk down through a cliffside, so a picturesque view can be seen as you traverse down to the bay. They offer cottages and rooms. The cottages can either be a nipa hut or made from cement both are nice as they offer different views. But, the rooms are the only reason why this review became a 3-star. As unlucky as we got, it was raining during our overnight stay so several holes showed themselves in the roof, ceiling, and walls. So kids cried and complained.

If you are all adults I recommend camping around the cove as the locals do. Stargazing, barbequeing, and drinking alcohol can be a real experience...

Going down to the beach is kinda fun, but going back upstairs was a Horrible Experience especially to elders. The stairs are not properly level, some parts are scary to walk on that you might fall on the side of the cliff. Hopefully the management could fix this, they should provide proper handrail/guide for safety and provide seating in between landings to rest. Fix stairs that are sloping downwards. (sari sari store/facilities) Yung yelo na P2-P3 sa manila, sa kanila P10 tapos sobrang payat pa nakakapagod umakyat/baba from room to cottage since sa taas lang may maayos na cottage. (not advisable sa may hika or heart disease) walang signal kahit anong network as in. May piso wifi raw pero wala naman. marumi ang pool idk may mga sebo yung gilid masungit mga bantay sa resort idky. maliit yung "big room" na inooffer nila liit ng cr wala pang sabitan ng gamit sobrang lakas ng alon from morning to eve
