You definitely do not want to drive yourself there unless you are familiar with slick roads, mud and dodging puddles. But that wasn’t a problem until we reached the parking area. Speaking of parking, there really isn’t a parking place. You just find a spot on the narrow grassy dirt road and stop. Nowhere to turn around so be ready to back up when leaving. As far as the cave, it’s worth the experience. Some brave souls will swim amongst the stalactites into the deep dark cave seeking that adrenaline. But it’s roped (with a string of plastic bottles) to keep you from wandering too far back into the abyss. I let my 8 year old venture into the cave with his cousin. Witnessing a few bats 🦇 zig-zagging in and out of the cave didn’t detour the locals from enjoying the fresh cold water from the constant stream that empties into an awaiting pool.
