Sagpulon Falls and Spring — Attraction in Misamis Oriental

Sugpulon falls, what a view. There are water flowing small pools in the side and they require everyone to wear life-vest for safety. But I rate it 2 stars due to the lack of its cleanliness. The pool color is light brown, I personally witness a woman who wash her feet with mud in the pool. It is so disgusting. The comfort and dressing room are horrible. Napkins everywhere and no trash cans inside the CR. Even a faucet for water does not exist inside the comfort rooms so it is expected to have a horrific toilet bowls. YES there was a wash rooms and CR in the entrance of Sogpulon falls. It was concrete and in tiles. But guess what, the moment you enter you will be welcomed by the foul odor of a S#*t. Come on, all grown person must know how to cleanup their waste. Well anyways the only attraction they have are the falls itself. You can enjoy diving and swimming, but since it is a public, expect it to be crowded.

In the future I hope they can provide a strick rule to follow for the swimmers and better do some cleaning. And if that will happen, I'll surely be back to the place. Sorry for the honest...

Secluded from the hustle & bustle of the city, this oasis of calm is a gorgeous place to chill out with family and friends. The access road is now paved and parking spaces are provided. There are picnic tables and even covered huts for visitors to use for free or for a fee. You can swim and even go to the cliff wall under the spray.

Unfortunately, maintenance of the site was never a priority with stray dogs, some dog poo and trash. I don't think the trash gets picked up regularly. So if you are bringing food, keep them covered. Also, a net covering is essential to protect your food from flies.
