If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Overpriced with Hidden Charges The place is overpriced with many hidden charges that were not mentioned on their Facebook page. The cottages, which are already overpriced, can only accommodate a maximum of four people. The entrance fee is also higher than advertised. Their FB page states that the overnight entrance fee is 70 PHP, but we were charged 100 PHP, plus an additional 100 PHP entrance fee for the swimming pool.
Moreover, they have an unstated rule requiring guests to wear silk clothing, which should have been clearly mentioned on their FB page for transparency and guest awareness.
Unsafe Environment The so-called “Kubo” is located near a road where outsiders can freely walk by and roam around, making the area feel unsafe. Poor Internet Connection The most stressful issue was the location of the Kubo. The internet connection in the area is very weak, and their “piso Wi-Fi” signal couldn’t reach the Kubo. Since I was working while on vacation, having a stable Wi-Fi connection was essential. This should have been clearly stated on their FB page so guests could come prepared. This issue led to the most frustrating experience of my stay. Horrible Customer Service The customer service, especially in the restaurant area, was unacceptable. I politely asked one of the staff if I could sit in one of their chairs because the Wi-Fi signal couldn’t reach our Kubo, and their location was the closest to the “piso Wi-Fi.” I only needed to sit there for a while to work on my laptop.
However, she flatly said “No” and explained that they were closing soon, showing no empathy or willingness to help. I understand that they were about to close, but she could have kindly allowed me to use the chair until they closed. It was a very unpleasant experience. While not all staff members were rude, most of them were unwelcoming and lacked basic customer service skills.

Read moreWe recently visited Tiquiano Beach Resort and I'd like to share my honest feedback to help others set their expectations. Upon arrival, we were immediately given a list of fees and restrictions, which was a bit of a turn-off. The entrance fee is ₱70 per person (for both adults and children), which felt steep considering it doesn't include the pool. We also had to pay corkage fees and even a fee for bringing our own tables and chairs. The most shocking was the ₱2,000 price for a small cottage for 12 hours. The beach itself is "so-so"—it's quite rocky ("batohon") and not the sandy shore you'd typically expect, so we didn't spend much time there. The comfort rooms were decent and clean, which I appreciated. However, a major issue we encountered was that all water sources are salty. The staff confirmed there is no freshwater available for rinsing off, so you'll definitely need to bring your own gallons of purified water if you want to wash off the saltwater and dirt. On the positive side, I commend the resort for their cleanliness and the neat, orderly arrangement of their cottages. It's well-maintained. I also noticed they have a lot of staff, which might explain the high prices. However, a downside to the cottages is the lack of fans for ventilation, despite having power outlets. Overall, I think this resort is more suited for a peaceful weekend for seniors or families who prioritize a quiet, orderly environment over a traditional beach experience. It's quite pricey for what you get, and it's probably not the best choice for a group of friends ("barkada") looking for a fun and affordable beach outing. Just be prepared for the extra costs and the...
Read moreIt is picturesque, soundly developed beach resort that has very kind and accomodating staff. There personnel are so well trained and observes utmost courtesy and hospitality with there guests making sure they attended to all your needs when you enter. The place has wide beach front which is rare in this parts of the area, most beaches in the area have little to no beach fronts because it is either a rocky cliff wall or a stony sands. For their ammenities you can opt to book for an airconditioned room (but i suggest you book in advance because they quickly get booked). Or you can also rent a tent for 500 pesos which can fit 3-4 persons. Kubo Cottages and cavannas(cottages with curtains are also available for larger groups. They have a dining hall which caters food. And oh, they also have a pool which has a separate entrance fee. Bringing your own tables, chairs, tent has corkages, but you may also rent them if you forget to bring one. All in all i highly recommend this resort. It has this calming vibe great for relaxing and disconnecting with the hustle and bustle of the city life. Thank you tiquiano's for the great accomodation. Btw I am not commissioned or paid for this comment, I just had a wonderful experience here so I better share it with you guys. 😁 (last picture is with the friendly dog I named charlie, he love his butt scratches pls dont be cruel to him when...
