Kiltepan View — Attraction in Mountain Province

Whether you have seen the movie The Thing Called Tadhana or not, the Kiltepan View at Sagada Mt. Province is a must place to visit. You can either take a kilometer walk from the main road, or do what we did. We rented a jeep for 50 pesos per head that gave us a ride upto the view point. Be sure to be there early and look for a great spot, There is alot of people specially on holidays and weekends. Food stalls are everywhere, as well as souvenirs. Sunrise views never fail to inspire, but the Kiltepan view is pretty special; with the Rice Terraces, a sea of clouds, a peeking sun and a moon gradually disappearing all in one eyeful. Best to get there the closest to sunrise as parking situations can be difficult - First in, last out. There are stands that offers traditional Filipino breakfast like, arrozcaldo, champorado and mami. Souvenirs are also for sale. Sunrise is not guaranteed! So better check the forecast before going.
