Marlboro Hill is a destination that should be on every traveler's bucket list. The hill offers a wonderful view that is unparalleled and is a must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of nature. One of the best things about Marlboro Hill is the opportunity to witness the sunrise along with the sea of clouds, which is a breathtaking sight to behold.

The hike to the top of the hill takes around 45 minutes, but the view from the top is well worth the effort. The hike itself is not too difficult, and even those who are not experienced hikers can make the climb with relative ease. Once at the top, visitors are treated to a panoramic view of the surrounding area, which is simply stunning.

Another great feature of Marlboro Hill is the convenience of the stores that are available at both the drop-off point and the top of the hill. These stores offer a range of items such as early breakfast, souvenirs, scarfs, gloves, and bonnets. This is especially useful for those who may have forgotten to bring along necessary items or for those who want to take a piece of the experience home with them.

In conclusion, Marlboro Hill is an amazing destination that everyone should visit at least once. The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking, and the hike up is not too difficult. The availability of stores at both the drop-off point and the top of the hill is a great convenience and adds to the overall experience. I highly recommend Marlboro Hill to anyone who loves nature and wants to experience the beauty of...

It’s my second time here and it’s always a great experience. 100/100

Honest reviews and tips: Make sure not to bring heavy bags you’ll struggle later during the trek/hike If you’re not into hiking/trekking then I don’t recommend this. It’s very tiring and exhausting but if you want an adventure then, it’s worth it to try. Bring tumblers and put Pocari Sweat or electrolytes. It’s a must. There were food stalls during the trek or hike but expensive. Trek/will normally start at 4AM -4:30AM Philippine Time so much better you wake up early the cook or eat on your accommodation ( better for those who don’t want to spend a lot) Always ask your tour guide if they provide stick cane (tungkod) since it’s a must have. If you’re on the top of Blue Mountain, most of the time, it’s foggy since it’s early in the morning. Much better to ask your local tour guide when and what time is the best time to see the SEA of CLOUDS You can purchase gloves, bonnet or beanie hat there before the start of the activity. Make sure to wear sandals or shoes that suits for trekking or hiking

SAGADA is expensive which is understandable so they can maintain the place so always bring extra cash...

This place will forever hold a special place in my heart. We hiked this place on a weekend last May 2022 and my long time boyfriend proposed on top of the beautiful Marlboro Hills! Perfect place for a perfect day!

The hike was easy and I will recommend it to beginners. I think it took us less than an hour to reach to top. Upon reaching the top, there are restrooms and small stores selling food and other stuff. Depending on the day, there might be plenty of hikers but the view of the sea of clouds is definitely fulfilling! One of the best sea of clouds I have seen seen.

From the top, it only gets better on your way down. Unlike any other mountains I have hiked before, the way down is composed of different instagrammable landscapes which I prefer to call stations! There was this station full of limestones, another with a brick red soil, a pine forest, a clearing with a big limestone at the back, then the blue soil. It will never get boring on your way down!

Be amazed with the different plants and flowers there! The local guides were also nice and...

Prepare for a 90 minute trek up a slow incline in the darkness of 5AM, through mud puddles, with four or more groups in front and behind you. Pack snacks and water and empty your bladder beforehand, as there will be no 'bushes' to cover you. Reach the top, where you will be greeted with a majestic sea of clouds, and the sun rising above the mountains beyond at around 6:30. There are also food shops in this area selling sopas(chicken macaroni soup), lugaw(rice porridge), and champorado(chocolate rice porridge) + lots of instant coffee options. Be careful where you step, because cows(!) graze on this mountaintop. The way down is better, passing by the Marlboro Blue Hills, which is a dried up stream filled with blue copper deposits. Take some pics, but don't damage the chalky hills. All in all a great, exhausting experience, 5/5 will try again next time we go to Sagada.
