Calabasa Picnic River in Dingalan, Nueva Ecija is a peaceful and relaxing nature spot, perfect for a quiet getaway. Surrounded by rolling hills of Dingalan, the river has clean, cool water where you can swim, have a picnic, or just enjoy the view. Families and groups of friends often come here to unwind and enjoy a day in nature. The place is simple—no fancy facilities—so it's best to bring your own food, water, and things like mats or tents if you plan to stay longer. It’s also a good idea to wear slippers or water shoes because of the rocks in the river. If you want a peaceful escape from the city, Calabasa Picnic River is a great choice. Just visit during sunny days so you can enjoy the water better. Let me know if you want a travel guide or sample itinerary...

This utterly refreshing and rejuvenating place offers a serene getaway for families, friends, or solo travelers. Imagine lounging in gentle riverside waters under rustic cottages, all set against rolling scenic mountain vistas. Cottage fee of P500 + environmental fee of P10/person, includes car parking. ATV rental is also available, great to experience - rent fee of P800/hr pwede rin tumawad. Makeshift bathrooms charge P20 per use. Few small sari-sari stores are around. The river is rocky with clear running water with fast-moving current in deeper area, but these are easily navigable. River depth - from heel to knee to waist to breast and deeper, depends on spot. Truly a hidden gem, a slice of Philippine nature...

NOTE: CORRECT PIN IS "CALABASA RESORT" (TURN RIGHT PAGKAKITA NG MISMONG CALABASA STATUE)

We went there last night and it was nice! Unang punta namin ay around 4-5PM so as expected mas madaming tao. Better pumunta ng morning para halos solo mo ung area.

Entrance fee is P10 while Cottage Fee is P500 as far as I know. Pero if you have tent or do not need cottage, kahit yung entrance fee lang yung babayaran. For CR naman, P10 for bihis, P20 for Banlaw or ligo. Dito medyo na off ako pero mga Bata ung bantay at hinulog nila sa DIY Alkansya ung bayad so I supposed ipon nila un so Keri na rin.

For the place itself, maganda sya at malawak, medyo na off lang ako sa ilang dumi at basura sa gilid pero Nakita ko naman na may naglilinis bago mag Sara (note: 5AM-7PM LANG. WALANG OVERNIGHT)

Environmental fee is 50/pax Kubo is 500/day Tent pitching is free Make sure you enter after the Calabasa statue, Google maps route is misleading. Kamote na nilalako nung kuya were really good. I regretted that we only bought 1 pack. River was clear and really cold. We enjoyed some dip and forgot about skin care 😜
