Mount Ugo — Attraction in Nueva Vizcaya

I hiked this mountain on June 30, 2024. I started at 6:00 AM and finished at 5:30 PM. It was a day hike and one of the longest I've done.

The trail is nice and well-maintained because the local government plans to pave it, especially the downhill sections. The trail is not very technical, and about 80% of it is currently a dirt road. Water sources are not an issue since there are villages along the way with free spring water and stores.

My first major hike after 1 1/2 yr of hiking life. This is great for the firstime major hikers like me. You will like it as it was not very technical climb unlike the other mountains that has 7-9/9 difficulty. This can be only rated as 5-6/9 scale because of the weather here.
