What a wonder! What a natural wonder of this world. It was worth the long drive from San fernando, la union. After the hike to get to the waterfall it was so cool and refreshing. The water was freezing cold! I tried to brave it and use my snorkeling equipment to go under but I couldn't go fully down but it was a beautiful view. So if you have a snorkel mask please use it there. We got a little lost while hiking so don't be afraid to ask the people who pass you by that have the left waterfall. There is this crossroad where you either go straight or go to the left. Please go straight! That will lead you to the falls. Please mark as helpful and follow my IG blog and travel: Mame Dee World š„° Please do NOT go to ilocos norte and miss going here

Kabigan Falls T R I V I A ⢠Kabigan falls got its name from the word ākaibiganā which means friend in English. Apparently, the falls and the river water are friends because they always meet when the waterfalls run down according to the locals. THINGS TO DO/BRING WHEN TREKKING ⢠register and pay ā±20 for the preservation fee ⢠a local tour guide will be mandatorily assigned to you. ⢠be prepared for the 15-30 minutes trekking ⢠buy or bring your water (nakaka-uhaw ang trekking mga sis! š®āšØ) ⢠bring extra clothes just in case you want to go swimming in the falls ⢠use non-slip shoes or sandals (slippery when wet š¤£)

This could be hiked by different ages. We went here with my parents and kids ages 2,3,5 and 8. The entire hike going up took about 30-35 minutes. Thereās some water with rocks to cross so prepare to get wet. I managed to save my sneakers from being soaked but you have to be physically jumping from one rock to the other. Our guide was very helpful assisting the kids and my parents. Lots of shades so even if it was hot it wasnāt that terrible. The entire place is very clean and not trashed. It was well worth it. Will come back to hike this trail again. The kids loved it.

A wonderful place that one should paid a visit. My tour guide was Maam Jenny, she is a housewife and very energetic. We came here around 2:30 in the afternoon. You have to pay 200.00 for the whole trek. Its a 15min walk and trek. At the end you will find the magnificent water falls, Kabigan from its name Kaibigan then changed to kabigan which means to attract! Strike a pose and off to go for swim or not! Lol

Very nice place, you can swim in it if you want, it's very refreshing. Be careful it pulls you towards the waterfall. There is a changing cabin. Only 15 minutes to walk. You need a Tourguide to go there. The guides are already there and waiting for youš I don't got a ticket and they count me 100 pesos.

A hidden gem in Ilocos Norte. You should add this beautiful waterfalls in your list of must visit places when you are in Pagudpod. Make sure that you are accompanied by a local guide though because to reach this place, one must walk for about 30 minutes into the jungle.
