Heritage church which was originally made of Bamboo and Nipa was reconstructed out of tribute collection from parishioners, it a standing edifice and evudence of Christianity and Spanish presence in this bay side municipality of Pakil in Laguna since the 8th century. Sundays get packed, and parking is tricky (mostly good for motorcycles), so if you’re bringing a car, ask the locals for help. Still, it’s worth the effort—this is both a heritage site and a living, breathing...
