Disappointing Experience at Sunset Peak Nature Camp
We visited Sunset Peak Nature Camp expecting a relaxing picnic, but it turned out to be frustrating and disappointing.
First, their name is misleading—nowhere does it suggest that they operate a restaurant. The signage outside is small and unnoticeable, so we had no idea about their policies until after we already paid for the entrance and parking fees. Only then did we realize they had a restaurant and enforced a corkage fee for outside food.
Since they had their own dining area, we chose to stay outside, away from their tables and chairs. Still, they insisted on charging us. My sibling told them we would settle the fee after eating, yet another waiter immediately came over to collect it, making the experience even more uncomfortable. The way they handled it was rude and unprofessional.
On top of that, the place itself isn’t even that special. There’s really nothing much to see or do, so paying an entrance fee already felt like a waste. Add in their unreasonable corkage policy, and it’s clear they’re just out to charge visitors as much as possible.
If you’re looking for a real nature camp or a picnic spot, this is NOT the place to go. Not...
Read moreSunset peak's restobar type of viewdeck is a dissapointment. the staffs can't accomodate the customers properly. we were sitted at 7:50pm, our order is taken at exactly 8:00pm. new guests arrived their order is taken and delivered immediately while our order is taking so long. kids that we brought are getting hungry, we asked the waiter to serve the kids the hotdogs that we ordered but they said that they are accomodating the newcomer first. it's now 9:30pm exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes from the time that we ordered. we followed up our order but to our surprise the staff said that our order hasn't been made yet. even the 2 minute dish, the hotdogs for the kids. we were so disappointed. we left when there's no food at our table. they starved us. not worth waiting or going for. please improve your management and accomodate the one's who arrived first not...
Read moreThere are plenty of view decks you'll find along Fort Magsaysay and Sunset Peak Nature Camp is definitely one of the relaxing spots out there.
We had a stopover here during our ride from Dingalan. Just take note that you'll encounter a short yet steep curvy road going up here. Aside from the view deck, there are also huts where you can sit down while enjoying the sight of Mt. Arayat. Don't worry about the parking space because they have big area for it.
We went here around afternoon so we were not able to witness any live band or DJ. You can take few drinks here or sip coffee while taking a rest.
It's really just a great stopover spot in case you are on a ride. But one thing's for sure: you'll enjoy the quiet time...
