Minalin Church
The Minalin Parish in Pampanga was established in 1614, originally serving as a visita (mission station) of Macabebe. By 1618, it had its own resident priest, and in 1624, it was officially recognized as an independent parish under Fr. Martín Vargas. In the years that followed, it expanded to include nearby mission areas such as Pangasinan and Tubungao (now Sta. Maria).
Throughout much of the Spanish colonial period, the parish was administered by Augustinian friars and was, at times, linked with the larger parishes of Bacolor and Betis. In 1771, Don Lorenzo Malaca became the first Filipino secular priest assigned to Minalin, followed by Don Manuel Francisco Tubil.

Jose Sales, after which leadership transitioned to local clergy.
