I'm giving it a 4-star rating, though I have come to love this place. We were at a private home along the Beachwalk, which was nicely paved, for an overnight stay on a weekend. The fact that it was quiet at night, with the waves crashing in the not-so-distant beach, kinda gives you a relaxing and soothing vibe. There are several resorts where you can stay, erected along the same road. You can build bonfires at night provided that these must be extinguished before retiring to bed, which we did. There are local nightwatch men who monitor the strip, which extends from Lingayen up to Dagupan City (as of this blogger's knowledge at present. It may go as farther than that), every few minutes, and I observed that no drinking of alcoholic beverages at the beach was implemented, for obvious reasons. In the morning, there were joggers and early beach-goers who wish to take in the therapeutic benefits of the salty air. Since the beach area is public, pitching of canopies and umbrellas...

When I came back to the Philippines to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, we visited this beach again... it's really sad to see how dirty the beach has become.
The sands were covered in trash, the waters were filled with trash (amongst other 'kinds' of trash)... there was so much that I was scared with what I was going to step on.
With trash-filled sands and waters, that beach was in a sense contaminated by God-knows what. So much so that I actually got sick.
This beach was my childhood, and it's sad to see what has become of it.
So, please, to anyone listening - reach out to the local government in Binmaley or any of the surrounding barangays: Clean the beach, in that way, everyone can have...
Read moreThis is our favorite go-to beach when my family and I just want to have a quick trip to see the sea. The local government have a clean-up drive along the shore, so it's clean-looking though you might still see bits and pieces for trash that's been lying around. You can swim here and there are houses/resorts that you can pay if you want to go shower, pee and go number 2. There are also nearby restaurants and restobars along the shore as well as street foods. Though there might be days you don't see anyone selling specially if it's on a weekday. If there is a fiesta, you might get difficulty of finding a parking, but on a regular day, there's no issue of finding one as you are allowed to park on the side of the road beside the breakwalls. We usually go here to see the sunrise, or during the afternoon to...
