Tayangban cave pool is a beautiful natural swimming spot located in the middle of Siargao island. It is a partially submerged grotto surrounded by mangroves. Visitors can swim, climb, and cliff jump in the pool. The cave pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of nature.

Here are some of the why go and nah of visiting Tayangban cave pool:

Why go:

• Beautiful natural setting • Great place to relax and swim • Variety of activities to enjoy

Why nah:

• Can be crowded during peak season • Access to the cave pool can be challenging • Water quality can be poor during the rainy season

Overall, Tayangban cave pool is a great place to visit if you are looking for a beautiful natural swimming spot. However, it is important to be aware of the potential drawbacks before visiting.

Edit: I just realized that the Google local guide add photo feature does not support photosphere. So I'm adding more photos of...

It was unexpected experience. I thought it will be just normal cave where easy way in and easy way out but no. We paid 520 for entrance fee with tour guide. The tour guide was a big help. He told us how to walk inside and where to hold. He gave me light and helmet. It’s a cave with ocean water from the entrance to the exit. The entrance was in the right of the road and exit was the other side of the road. During our exploration, the water is not that deep but when it’s high tide, it can be 8 to 10 feet or more. I was shocked but I made it. I’m don’t have any photos because it’s hard to take a photo when you are 5’1 and your whole body is underwater.

Note: wear shoes ( water shoes or hiking shoes) because rocks and wall are slippery. Also, the tour guide can take a photo of you if you have...

Well worth a visit! We paid 520 for 2 people and got a tour guide included in that price (Tony). They provided helmets and a torch.

The cave its self takes about 15mins to go through. Its super beautiful and about chest deep water the whole way depending on the weather and tides.

Its a round trip so you enter one way and exit in a different location. Just as you come to the end of the cave there is a deep pool/lagoon with a platform jump, a swing, and a rope swing. You can chill here as long as you like. It's crazy beautiful and your guide can take pictures and videos of you.

After you finish in the lagoon/pool ots a very short walk back over the road to your bike. They have toilets and snacks and drinks available.

Over all it was so much fun and worth the very...

Super fun activity! We paid 100PHP per person and tipped our guide 100PHP. Guides and tips are mandatory. Usually, we never want a guide, but this would be impossible without one. I do not recommend this activity for children, elderly people, and people with disabilities or mobility issues. It’s not doable! You’ll walk inside caves inside water, almost no visibility, with only ropes and rocks to step on, and with a really really strong current. It’s dark, slippery and you never know where you’re stepping in. Fortunately guides are amazing and super fun, they’ll guide you through it. Totally worth the 300PHP we spent!

Really fun way to spend a couple of hours in Siargao! It costs 100 pesos pp plus a tip for the guide who brings you through the cave (tells you where to step, where to be careful & shines torch where there's no light). Our guide, Jon was really nice & helpful. Definitely worth the small money it costs. No tour operators go here (Dec 2022) so it was quiet and we had the place to ourselves. The cave lasts about 15-20 minutes (in water up to your neck // wear water shoes) then you can swim and jump into the pool of water at the end for as long as you like. There's a jumping platform & a rope swing. Really enjoyable.
