Ilug Kamalig — Attraction in Porac

We are super happy to visit this place with my family. Its a budget getaway because the entrance is FREE. The floating cottages can only be rented for 200 only, while those by the river are FREE. They only accept voluntary donations for the maintenance and improvement of the place. Good for picnic and relaxing in the gentle stream. My kids had fun on the river despite the water being warmer and shallow. We were able to appreciate the natural green beauty of the riverside experience. We had a wonderful time car-camping at Ilug Camalig. The river water is clear and relatively clean, really fun to splash around in. Water level is quite shallow about ankle-deep which makes it safe for kids to play in. River bed is covered with fine, soft sand almost devoid of stones and rocks. Very pleasant to walk on even barefoot.
